Remember the C-HR? The plucky compact Toyota SUV debuted just ten years ago, but it had a surprisingly short run in America—it was discontinued after the 2022 model year, and for a while, it seemed like that was that. But this summer, the famed automaker unveiled that the C-HR is making its triumphant return to our Toyota dealership near Euless, TX, this time as an exciting all-electric model.
Read on to discover why the C-HR Battery Electric Vehicle is poised to become one of the best electrified Toyotas around.
2026 Toyota C-HR Range and Charging

When a new electric vehicle drops, one of the first questions that usually gets asked is, “What’s the maximum range?”
The C-HR BEV is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a 74.7 kilowatt-hour capacity. This tech gives it an estimated 290-mile range on a full charge, and using DC fast charging, Toyota says that it’ll be capable of recouping a 10 to 80% state of charge in just half an hour. It also comes standard with a NACS port, allowing a wide range of charging options across Texas and beyond.
2026 Toyota C-HR Performance

The C-HR’s electric powertrain allows it to crank out up to 338 horsepower, providing plenty of kick and that trademark EV acceleration. Toyota estimates that it’ll be able to make a 0 to 60 run in around five seconds.
It also comes with electric motors mounted at both eAxles, giving it standard all-wheel drive, which combines with the C-HR’s low center of gravity for a remarkably agile and stable ride in all road conditions.
2026 Toyota C-HR Interior

Inside, the C-HR is designed to be surprisingly spacious, with ample leg and head room in both rows and a highly functional cargo area. As of this writing, interior dimensions have yet to be released, but we do know that it has an overall length of 177.9 inches, which puts it on par with the Corolla Cross in terms of size. It also boasts a tall profile with generous sightlines to enhance safety and driver confidence.
The cabin is also impressively well-equipped, with a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, access to the full range of Toyota Connected Services, and even dual wireless device charging pads, all standard. Other standard features include three USB-C ports, heated front seats and steering wheel, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Available features include a driver memory seat and a panoramic roof that allows plenty of natural light inside.
